My established practice is conveniently located on Friar Lane in the Old Town area of Leicester city centre. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means my practice safely follows a trusted ethical framework. Ellen Sharrocks MBACP (Accred)
Trained at the University of Leicester, I am experienced in counselling adults and couples with a wide range of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, trauma and abuse. I have previously worked in an agency setting at the Leicester Counselling Centre. I now work in private practice and am a registered counsellor/psychotherapist with AXA Health, Aviva and Health Assured.
