My counselling practice, Ellen Sharrocks Counselling, is an established city centre practice located in Friar Lane in the Old Town of Leicester. I am fully insured and a registered, accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), abiding by its ethical framework for practice.

Trained at the University of Leicester, I am experienced in counselling adults and couples with a wide range of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, trauma and abuse. I have previously worked in an agency setting at the Leicester Counselling Centre. I now work in private practice and am a registered counsellor/psychotherapist with AXA Health, Aviva and Health Assured.
